Share HI One aspect that I am not sure is covered is the number of Art Deco dwellings and facades. I think these are unique in Perth and are worth raising the profile of. I do not think at this stage there needs to be specific house heritage listings, but certainly there needs to be a much raised community awareness of these features to encourage landowners to retain the front facades. That in particular is the verandah, character and headlight windows. Every house with headlights has a different pattern; something worth retaining. This is particularly through the South Terrace, Kensington, Hobbs and Monash Avenues near Canning Highway. Maybe there could be a photo of the windows or facades as a record and to letter drop the owners to alert them to the heritage. on Facebook Share HI One aspect that I am not sure is covered is the number of Art Deco dwellings and facades.
