Council has been considering changes to specific places on its Local Heritage Survey (LHS) and determined to advertise these at its Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 28 April 2026.
The City is now seeking feedback on proposed changes to the LHS for the following seven places:

The City is now seeking feedback on proposed changes to the LHS for the following seven places:
- Place No. 36 - Wesley College, 40 Coode and 41 Swan Streets, South Perth
- Place No. 39 - St Columba’s Church, Presbytery and Primary School, 25 Forrest Street, South Perth
- Place No. 95 - St Joesph’s Convent (Dennehy House fmr.), 16 York Street, South Perth
- Place No. 50 - Royal Perth Golf Club (Golf Course), Labouchere Road, South Perth
- Place No. 96 - Royal Perth Golf Club (Clubhouse), Labouchere Road, South Perth
- Place No. 85 - Residence: 49 Forrest Street, South Perth (former 44 Angelo Street)
- Place No. 86 - Residence: 39 Anstey Street, South Perth.

The LHS is a requirement of the Heritage Act 2018(External link). Previously known as the Municipal Heritage Inventory (MHI) or Local Heritage Inventory (LHI), the LHS recognises and records places with cultural heritage significance, allowing us to better understand the places which contribute to the history of the City of South Perth.
