Podiums Feedback Form

Together the draft South Perth Activity Centre Plan (ACP) and proposed Town Planning Scheme Amendment No. 61 (Amendment No. 61) regulate podiums across the activity centre area. The draft ACP contains objectives for podiums and Amendment No. 61 contains the requirements for podiums.

Section 1 - Podiums

The questions in this section are not compulsory - you may answer as many or as few as you wish.

1. To what extent do you support the objectives for podiums in the draft ACP?

Objective i. To ensure buildings contribute to a public realm that creates interest and encourages pedestrian movement.
Objective ii. To provide human-scale development fronting onto a defined hierarchy of streets, as outlined on Plan 3.
Objective iii. To support the development of a human-scale, vibrant streetscape experience whilst ensuring that a viable built form siting and access solution can be achieved.
Objective iv. To articulate the base of buildings with high-quality material and design elements that complement neighbouring buildings and contribute to the pedestrian scale.
2. To what extent do you support the requirements for podiums in Schedule 9B of proposed Amendment No. 61?
