Design Quality Feedback Form

Together the draft South Perth Activity Centre Plan (ACP) and proposed Town Planning Scheme Amendment No. 61 (Amendment No. 61) regulate design quality across the activity centre area. The draft ACP contains objectives and standards for design quality and Amendment No. 61 contains the requirements for design quality.

Section 1 - Design Quality

The questions in this section are not compulsory - you may answer as many or as few as you wish.

1. To what extent do you support the objectives for design quality in the draft ACP?

Objective i. To ensure that building design maintains high levels of occupant amenity within new and established buildings.
Objective ii. To ensure that building design is of a high quality and contributes to the desired future character of the character area and ACP area.
Objective iii. To ensure that buildings with additional height and/or plot ratio above the base limits set in Schedule 9B achieve excellent and exemplary standards of design.
Objective iv. To ensure that development in proximity to road and rail transport sources provide suitable noise mitigation measures.
Objective v. To ensure that buildings do not cast excessive shadows over adjacent properties.
3. To what extent do you support the requirements for design quality in Schedule 9B of proposed Amendment No. 61?
