Thank you to everyone who participated in the development of the Public Toilet Plan. The feedback has been analysed and the draft revised accordingly before reporting to Councillors in October 2020. To find out more about the stakeholder and community engagement processes and outcomes, read the Engagement Overview Report. The Public Toilet Plan can now be viewed on the City's website.

Following community and stakeholder engagement at the end of last year, research, community demographic profiling, government guidelines and statutory requirements, the City has developed its first draft Public Toilet Plan (the draft Plan).

There are currently no public toilets at Olives Reserve in Como. With a new playground planned for the reserve will public toilets be constructed for this area?

Jasmine asked over 4 years ago

Thanks for your question. As part of the Public Toilet Plan, Olives Reserve will be considered as a location for a public toilet. The Plan will identify a variety of criteria for determining locations for public toilets throughout the City, including factors like catchment area, existing facilities, type of park/reserve, etc. The Plan is currently being drafted, and is due for completion in 2020. If you’d like to be kept in the loop about the development of the Plan, you can register for email updates here.
