Following stakeholder and community consultation on the draft Plan, the feedback has been analysed and the Plan finalised.

The Public Toilet Plan provides a clear framework for delivering consistent, cost-effective and fit-for-purpose public toilet facilities across the City. Importantly, the Plan will also increase the hygiene of public toilet facilities for the local community through the recommended installation of touchless facilities such as sensor taps, sensor/non-contact flushing, self-cleaning cubicles, automated/non-contact exit mechanisms and sensor/automated sanitisers.

Funds required to implement the Public Toilet Plan will be sought using a combination of City funds, external funding and/or contributions from external stakeholders.

To find out more about the stakeholder and community engagement processes and outcomes, read the Engagement Overview Report. The Public Toilet Plan can now be viewed on the City's website.
