City of South Perth Parking Strategy

Parking Strategy

The consultation stage for the City of South Perth Parking Strategy concluded in August 2015. The City values and appreciates your involvement.

Luxmoore Parking and Safety Consultants have been commissioned by the City of South Perth to develop the City-wide Parking Strategy.

The strategy aims to provide a parking framework over the next 15 years to assist in achieving the City’s goals in relation to travel demand management and sustainable transport, to ensure the existing road network amenity is maintained and improved.

Main Roads, the Department of Transport, the community, businesses and other stakeholders were engaged to provide feedback to inform the draft strategy.

The final City of South Perth Parking Strategy strategy was endorsed by Council in May 2016. It will now be utilised to provide a set of guiding principles as the City develops “Operational Management Plans” for each individual Parking Control Area (PCA).
