The City is reviewing its Local Planning Policies (LPPs) to align with State Planning Reforms and support implementation of Local Planning Scheme No. 7(External link). The review will ensure the City has an up-to-date planning framework to support good planning outcomes for our community into the future.

The LPP review commenced with Stage one in August 2023 and Stage five concludes the review. The City recognises the need to maintain its suite of local planning policies including preparing, reviewing, amending, and revoking policies where necessary and as such, individual reviews of each LPP will occur as required in response to emerging issues or reform.
