The draft LPP - Non-Residential Development in the Residential Zone includes land use and built form requirements for non-residential uses and development in residential areas. This may include development such as consulting rooms, shop, café, yoga/pilates studios.


Key requirements of the draft LPP include:

  • Preferred locational criteria to preserve residential amenity. 
  • Built Form in accordance with the relevant density code for the subject site. 
  • Traffic information requirement to justify vehicle movements.
  • Landscaping and tree planting requirements.
  • Requirements for an Acoustic Report and Noise Management Plan.
  • Operation times and days to preserve residential amenity.
