The City of South Perth has received a request to amend its town planning scheme to introduce specific development requirements for the South Perth Hospital site to facilitate the future redevelopment of the Hospital. The South Perth Hospital site is bounded by Ernest Johnson Oval, South Terrace, Fortune Street and Burch Street, South Perth.

The proposed development requirements include:

  • building height limits and minimum setbacks that define a building envelope for the site; and
  • that a local development plan be adopted by the Council prior to the approval of any future development application to specify the detailed built form, access and parking requirements for the site.

Comments should be submitted one of the following ways:
