Would you like to contribute and be actively involved in reviewing the vision for the place and design of the South Perth Station Precinct?

The Planning Design Forum will review the existing vision and establish how the area should develop into the future, with input from community members and other stakeholders.

The City is looking for people interested in the South Perth Station Precinct to have a say, collaborate and be actively involved in a Planning Design Forum in March 2017.

We are seeking up to 30 people to represent the community in the Forum, which will be independently facilitated by a specialist team of consultants.

Local residents, business owner/operators, students or anyone who has an interest in the area are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest form and be a representative for your community.

The community representative participants will need to attend the following sessions at the South Perth Community Hall:

    • Monday 13 March: 8.45am–2.30pm (Forum)
    • Tuesday 14 March: 8.45am–4.30pm (Forum)
    • Wednesday 15 March: 5.45–6.45pm (Community Exhibition 1)
    • Friday 17 March: 5–6.45pm (Community Exhibition 2)

At the Forum, community representatives will collaborate with City staff and a team of urban planning and design, architecture, traffic and transport and economic consultants. Unlike other community consultation processes, the Forum will bring a diverse range of interested people together to collectively work through the issues associated with planning for the Station Precinct. Participants will explore place and design challenges and collaborate to define and visualise the future Station Precinct.

Lunch, morning and afternoon tea will be provided to attendees.

    EOIs close 9am, Monday 27 February 2017.
