The City of South Perth is committed to ensuring an accessible City for everyone.


The City seeks your feedback to assist in the development of a revised Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) to be implemented over the next five years.

The DAIP sets out the City’s commitment to making the community a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone to enjoy.


The aim of the DAIP is to provide a framework to improve access to services and facilities for people in the community across the following areas:

  • Access to services and events
  • Physical access to buildings and facilities
  • Provision of information in accessible formats
  • Provision of quality service
  • Opportunity to provide feedback
  • Opportunity to participate in public consultation
  • Equal opportunity practices in place for employment programs
  • Awareness training for staff on disability and access

We encourage you to take 10 minutes to complete the survey. The inital feedback was scheduled to close on Friday 26 August, however the City has extended engagement until 5pm on FRIDAY 23 September 2016.


Hard copies of the survey are available view during business hours at the Civic Centre, Cnr Sandgate St & South Tce, South Perth, City’s Libraries and website.

    The City of South Perth is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, accessible and engaged community.

    In April 2017, the City adopted a new Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP). The City is responsible for the implementation of this Plan, which is an important step that will guide a strategic approach to creating an accessible and inclusive community.

    The DAIP is available to view online on the City's website, or in alternative formats on request. If you have any questions or would like a copy of the Plan in an alternative format please contact the City on 9474 0777 or enquiries@southperth.wa.gov.au.
