As part of the City's commitment to transparency, residents can view and track the progress of Development Applications (DA) and Local Developments Plans (LDP) within the City.

A DA is advertised according to the City's Consultation Policy P301. Submissions received by the City are collated, summarised and considered by the City planning officer according to the criteria and planning guidelines/schemes.

All DA's that have been recently determined by delegated authority, by council decision or by referral to the relevant state authority can be viewed on the City's website.

An LDP is prepared in specific circumstances to guide and coordinate development outcomes on certain lots, for example where vehicle access is constrained. An LDP (if adopted) can replace or augment other planning controls, such as the Residential Design Codes, or the provisions of a local planning policy. The local government must have due regard to any LDP applicable to a lot when considering a DA.

All LDPs that have already been adopted by the City can be viewed on the City’s website.
