We received a good response to the Swanview Reserve survey and drop-in session, with a broad and diverse range of feedback.

The top three favourite things to do at the playground were swinging, sliding and climbing, which is a common theme with other recent playground engagements. Many participants were keen to see equipment to meet the needs of a broader age range.

The concept design for the new playground will be developed based on the feedback received, the City’s Play Space Plan, industry guidelines, and other considerations such as budget.

A supplier will be engaged in the near future and it is anticipated that the new playground will be installed around April-June 2024 to allow for procurement, manufacture and delivery of the equipment.
