What is a parklet?

    A parklet is generally described as an extension to an existing business or community space by the placement of a temporary outdoor structure for seating, dining and/or social use on a portion of the adjoining road in front of a premises. Typically, parklets are designed to be installed within existing parking spaces located directly in front of and the same width as the premises to which it relates.

    Yes, Policy P402 Alfresco Dining and Parklets is the City’s relevant policy.
