Scheme Amendment No. 1 to Local Planning Scheme No. 7 - Short-Term Rental Accommodation

The feedback period has now closed. All comments received will be analysed and the revised Scheme Amendment presented to Council later this year.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting (External link) on Tuesday 22 October, Council resolved to advertise Scheme Amendment No. 1 to Local Planning Scheme No. 7 (LPS 7) - Short-Term Rental Accommodation.

The purpose of the draft Scheme Amendment is to:

• update LPS 7 text to introduce new and revised land use classes and general definitions to facilitate State Government reforms for short-term rental accommodation.

The City is now seeking feedback on this draft Scheme Amendment.
