    Hi there. Thanks for your question. 

    The final size and play elements for the new play space are yet to be determined. However, based on the available space at George Burnett Park and the allocated budget, the City aims to deliver a ‘district-level’ play space that is larger than a typical local park playground. At the park there are currently two areas where there are large mounds of clean fill (natural earth/soil) and these show where we are planning to put the play space. There will also be play elements underneath the existing trees, creating a connection between the areas.

    The concept plan for the proposed play space will be prepared once the survey closes and the responses have been analysed. This plan will be available for feedback later this year.
