Parklet Licence Application - Proposed Three Year Term
The City of South Perth is inviting feedback on an application for a licence for the parklet in front of Nextdoor Restaurant at No. 79 Angelo Street.
At the December 2023 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council resolved to grant a 12-month licence for the trial parklet at No. 79 Angelo Street (Nextdoor Restaurant), subject to various conditions relating to the use and maintenance of the space.
The parklet has since been constructed and the applicant is now seeking a licence for a three-year period.
No changes to the parklet structure are proposed, with the hours of operation remaining as follows:
- Wednesday and Thursday: 3:00pm – 10:00pm
- Friday: 12:00pm – 11:30pm
- Saturday: 12:00pm – 11:30pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
The applicant does not have exclusive or uninterrupted use of the area. The parklet must remain publicly available at all times.
