Joint Bike Plan

The City of South Perth and the Town of Victoria Park worked together to deliver a comprehensive Joint Bike Plan for the community and it was was endorsed at the Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 31 July 2018. A Joint Bike Plan Summary has been produced which provides an overview of the comprehensive document.
The development of the Bike Plan included research into the current situation, stakeholder and community engagement, a gap analysis and determination of best practice solutions suitable for the local community.

- Issues and challenges (red pin). This may include locations where there is/are missing link/s, unsafe crossing/s, no lights, etc
- Existing notable and safe cycling areas (green pin). This may include locations that are enjoyable to ride, have great end of trip facilities (i.e. bicycle parking, lockers, showers) or notable for other reasons.
- Bike idea (yellow pin)/ This may include locations that are not necessary unsafe or an issue, however would like to see an improvement.
