What can be included in the Coode St foreshore vision?
How can we further shape the vision for the Coode St foreshore? We want to work with you to make the Coode St foreshore a better serviced, accessible all-ages family recreation space.
I have provided feedback about this area in other projects. Will my previous feedback be considered?
Yes, we are basing our engagement on previous feedback we received on the South Perth Foreshore Strategy and Management Plan. This engagement builds on the aspirations already identified by the community.
What happens after the engagement?
A concept design (node plan) will be drafted at a later date. We will then seek feedback about it from stakeholders and the community. Once the design has been finalised, detailed design will take place.
Implementation of the design will be subject to grant funding and City budget, and it is likely to be a staged implementation as funding becomes available.
As the Coode Street foreshore is within the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) area, the City will need to apply for approval from DBCA prior to implementation of any of the actions planned for the area.
What if I can’t attend the engagement activities in person?
There will be opportunities to participate online so please register your details and we will keep you updated.
What about the impact of COVID-19?
The City will follow all State Government COVID-19 requirements and mandates. We have included online and other engagement activities to provide maximum opportunity for participation in all situations.
What will happen with my survey responses?
Your responses will be analysed and considered when drafting a concept design (node plan) for the Coode Street Foreshore. We will then seek feedback about it from stakeholders and the community. Once the design has been finalised, detailed design will take place.
