The community survey has now closed and the responses are being analysed. Following further stakeholder engagement, the new Water Management Plan will be drafted and presented to Council for adoption later this year.

The City is working with environmental consultant Urbacqua to update our Water Management Plan (WMP). The new WMP 2024-2029 will set actions to deliver a water sensitive vision for the future and help us transition to a Water Sensitive City (WSC) – a resilient, liveable, productive, and sustainable city.

We are seeking your input on the key issues that are of interest to the community. Your feedback, alongside guidelines, budgetary constraints, legislation, existing stakeholder partnerships and City’s employees’ input will all be considered in the preparation of the new WMP.
