Approval of Amendment 61 and South Perth Activity Centre Plan

On 21 December 2021, the Minister for Planning approved Scheme Amendment 61 to the City of South Perth Town Planning Scheme No. 6 and it was subsequently gazetted on 24 December 2021. The South Perth Activity Centre Plan (ACP) was also approved on 21 December 2021 by the Chairman of the Western Australian Planning Commission.

Amendment 61 and the South Perth ACP set out the City’s strategic vision and statutory planning requirements for development in the area between South Perth Peninsula, Richardson Park and Perth Zoo.

Amendment 61 and the South Perth ACP will now apply to all new development in the area. A copy of the approved Amendment 61 and South Perth ACP, which includes the Community Benefit Contribution Project List, is available for download from the City’s website.
