Thank to everyone who completed the survey and/or attended the drop-in session in November 2024. A new play space design has been finalised based on the feedback received, the City's Play Space Plan 2022 (PDF, 6.87 MB) , industry guidelines and other considerations such as budget.

You can view the final design in the Document Library. The new play space features a two-swing set, including an accessible swing seat (not illustrated).

It is anticipated that installation of the new playground will begin in early June 2025 and it is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting.

The playground at Jan-doo Park in Salter Point is due for replacement, as guided by the City’s Play Space Plan 2022 (PDF, 6.87 MB). To help us choose the new playground equipment, we’d like to know more about the types of play elements you love and the features you’d like to see there.
