Thanks to everyone that provided feedback. The design has been updated taking on board the feedback along with the outcomes of environmental studies. For further information and to view the preliminary design and final report, see the City's website.
The City of South Perth has developed a preliminary design to improve the water quality at Neil McDougall Lake in Como and we’d like to thank everyone that provided feedback online and at the on site drop in information and feedback session.
The City recently undertook environmental studies at the lake to determine the presence of acid sulphate soils and to investigate site hydrology (groundwater levels). The preliminary design has been updated taking on board the outcomes of these studies together with the outcomes of the engagement as required.
The City is now working on the design for construction, which will commence in 2020/21 subject to funding.
